Even still, we do have some local Oktoberfests that are worth stockpiling for those more climate-appropriate days.
On Saturday, COOP Ale Works held a release party for its 2015 Oktoberfest. You can expect to see this beer hit liquor stores in cans this year:
Love that logo! Do they not need to put that on a T-shirt? Word is that will appear in stores in roughly the third week of September.
And not to be outdone, Marshall Brewing Co. has announced its Oktoberfest -- one of the better Oktoberfests you'll find -- is due to hit liquor stores in six packs on Aug. 20. (Mrs. Beagle's birthday! Coincidence? I think not!)
Kegs will follow the next week, and Marshall will hold an Oktoberfest release party at Fassler Hall-Tulsa on Sept. 3.
Bonus side note: Tulsa Oktoberfest is set for Oct. 21-25.
Extra-bonus side note: Choctaw Oktoberfest is Sept. 4-12.
